The Madison Square Garden of today, is actually the fourth venue to have the MSG name. Built around 1966-67, MSG IV had it's grand opening on February 11th, 1968 with a capacity crowd of close to 20,000 cheering for Bob Hope and Bing Crosby.
Today, MSG is home to both the New York Rangers and the New York Knicks as well as hundreds of other festivities including concerts, circus and more.
